HR 2013 and SAP Business Suite on HANA - An HR Focus

In this podcast we talk with Amy Thistle, conference producer for SAP Insider, about the HR 2013 conference, and then we transition to the recent announcement that SAP' Business Suite software is now available ot be run on top of SAP HANA.

Steve Bogner will be leading a panel discussion at HR 2013 in Las Vegas on the future of SAP HCM. Panelists include many of the members of the SAP HCM Insights podcast team - Brandon Toombs, Martin Gillet, Jarret Pazahanick, Luke Marson and Mark Ingram as well as Sharon Wolf Netwon from hyperCision.

SAP's announcement that Business Suite can now be run on HANA wasn't exactly a surprise, but it does mark a big change for SAP customers (Martin's coverage of the event is documented here). We discuss what this change means for HCM customers. Is 'faster' good for the sake of only being faster? Is it worthwhile to make a hacked-up system with poor processes faster? Just what HCM processes will benefit from the increased speed gained from HANA? Listen in to get our opinions!
